The Downtown Neighborhood Association in Washington, DC, had its beginnings in 2006 and was officially formed and incorporated in 2007. Our mission is to develop and create a vibrant downtown residential character and balance between the residents, business owners, galleries, entertainment community and tourists.
The DNA represents neighborhood interests before regulatory and administrative boards and engages in other activities to protect the interests of the community. In these few short years the DNA has increased in numbers and impact on the community. Without our members the DNA would have little influence with city officials and agencies.
If you live downtown, the DNA is here for you.
